What do I do?

Do you want honest advice? This can't be ignored. Emotions are part of being mortal. It's time for you to figure out your own. Why did any of what she said offend you? If you don't know, then apologize and tell her that. Honesty's usually a good bet ~~or it destroys things~~

It did not offend. I vehemently disagreed and the argument continued. I did not desire for it to do so any longer.

You two...communicate very differently. Not every argument can end because you want it to. Obviously by cutting off one when you did left Melinoe with the impression you had been insulted.

What do you recommend then?

Talk to her and listen to what she says. Even if you don't like it. Melinoe is more like mortals then the rest of her family. She feels and if you want any kind of relationship with her, you have to learn how to understand that.
