[Meli sounds absolutely exhausted and near tears. She hadn't slept much at all before it had all started. Now, there is none, and she's afraid she's losing it altogether]

I want to tear my ears out and simply die.

I hardly sleep as it is.

At least those who follow me remember what that actually is and give me peace at times. All this? This beast growling and snarling through everything as though it's going to kill me? Horrid. Throwing myself from the rooftop would be preferable.

I would see a physician for help, for a remedy for any sleep, but I could be committed instead. This will not do...

Are any of you having better luck?

That is not enough to justify the costs. Why do you require? Silence? Protection? Drugs?

I just want uninterrupted rest for a little while at some point in my mortal existence. None of this snarling and growling that I'm sure is the work of our jailers, and perhaps some away from those that follow me.

Why does this want of death offend you so? Especially since you are Murder personified and it seems that we do return.

I am sorry I said anything at all. Perhaps suffering in silence is best for me.

There is nothing wrong with speaking your ills if you are looking for a solution. Is the noise you suffer in your head or external?

Of course I have, but it seems to be different for some. I am distracted by the noise, but it poses no threat and is, thus, merely an annoyance.

Perhaps it's been worse for me because I don't sleep well to begin with...

Are you afraid or merely annoyed?

I am honestly not sure anymore.

All I know is that I am so exhausted and tired and feeling ill from the lack of sleep.

I hope that some comes soon before I must work.

If you are afraid, I am told the presence of someone you trust can aid. If you are annoyed, I recommend music or medicinal aids.

I will be staying with Cerberus tonight. I have faith in the pup to help me to the best of his ability, even if he is in a human form. We shall see what happens.
