He's been having a great deal of difficulty trying to make sense of his very mortal, very human emotions. So much to the point that he grows frustrated with himself and anyone who might suggest that he possesses such a thing. He cannot help it, and I have desperately tried to help him understand. But you and he are very much alike in many ways, and you've had a considerable amount of time and earned much knowledge in how to handle your own, I thought that perhaps you could speak with him and help him understand as you do.
I know you believe that most feelings are illogical, but we all have them, and they must be dealt with in our own way, lest we drive ourselves mad. For humans, it can be very detrimental to the body and mind to not be able to handle things like feelings well; to not be able to express them. I know you still have a difficult time on occasion, but I believe you understand them more.
I would not ask this of you if I did not believe it important. I care for Phonos very, very much. As much as I do understand mortal emotions, I am apparently not the ideal individual for this task. Would you? Please?
I thought you might understand them a bit better after being with Mama for so long. Has she not tried to help you understand some of them? You do love Mama, right?

I wouldn't say he's completely out of control, but it's apparent that he does not quite know what to do with himself. He's lashed out at both me and Makaria after asking us very simple questions about feelings.
