[Still ever-so-soft, but with a thread of iron in her tone]

Zeus forced himself on me, disguised as the man I love. Do you understand? I thought it was Hades. I lay with my husband and you are our child. I didn't keep it from you to hurt you. Hades is your father. Zeus is not. He is nothing.

[Sounds pained, but her voice is softened]
