I apologize for my behavior towards you regarding your observations in light of the recent run of anger through the course of most of the residents. I had even lashed out at Orphne, and vice versa, which is far more unlike her than anyone else here.

My sister has no job and no money. She is a mortal teenager, now. Regardless of how she would normally be to any of us in the Underworld, the hormones and teenage way of thinking have her acting as though she is invincible. She believes that this dog of hers is going to protect her from everything and anything that could possibly come to harm her. The dog is mortal and just as susceptible to harm.

What if it's a less than savory sort funding her 'privacy'? How many mortal men, and that includes some of those in this complex, do you know that would take only a 'thank you' as a reward?

I find it bothersome that you don't seem to particularly care about the very real threat that your daughter could possibly be taken advantage of. Even if she is not, it's still highly possible. You do not know her whereabouts, you do not know who is funding her, and you do not know their intentions.

What evidence are you waiting for? Her to come home abused or pregnant? I'd say 'dead' but apparently that does not apply here. At least, not for very long.

Mama is upset and worried, and rightly so. She does not want to wait for this evidence you're so bullheadedly waiting for. How do you think she would react?

A better question: What would you do if Mama, your wife, were doing the exact thing that Makaria is? Saying the things that she is? If she had no employment or money and did not come to you when she was seemingly in distress, wouldn't you care to know who her benefactor was and what their intentions were?

I am well aware we are not speaking of my mother. I am asking you what you would think in such a scenario and if you can understand why Mama is so frustrated with this situation concerning your daughter and your reaction to it.
